A considered foundation for every space.

Gym, sports & equestrian flooring in the UAE

Professional flooring for training, sport and equestrian environments. Select the right surface, thickness and finish with a specification shaped around how your space is used.

Rubber gym flooring and functional turf concept in a UAE fitness space

Professional gym flooring, zone by zone

Match the surface to the activity, equipment and building. ONE R M supports flooring selection for commercial gyms, home gyms, studios and training facilities across the UAE.

01

Rubber rolls & tiles

Continuous rolls, modular tiles and interlocking formats for cardio, strength and general training areas. Finishes and installation methods are selected for the space.

02

Lifting & acoustic systems

Thicker impact tiles, lifting platforms and acoustic underlays for demanding weight zones. Assess the complete floor build-up, equipment loads and neighbouring spaces.

03

Functional turf

Indoor training turf and sled tracks, with options for markings, edge transitions and integration with adjacent rubber surfaces.

04

Studio & movement floors

Sports vinyl, polyurethane and sprung timber systems for group exercise, movement studios and indoor sports, according to activity and subfloor requirements.

05

Outdoor & recreation surfaces

EPDM rubber systems, outdoor tiles and suitable synthetic finishes for activity areas, with attention to weather exposure, drainage and maintenance.

06

Finishing details

Perimeter trims, ramps, skirting, colour zoning and clean transitions create a coordinated result and help manage changes in floor level.

Different thicknesses. A project-specific specification.

These are indicative thickness bands for initial discussion, not a universal installation specification. Density, construction, dropped loads, acoustics and the supporting slab matter as much as thickness.

01

8–10 mm options

Lower-profile rubber options to discuss for selected cardio and general fitness areas, subject to the product system and expected loading.

02

15–20 mm options

Deeper rubber tile options for strength and functional zones where the specification calls for additional material and impact management.

03

30–40 mm+ build-ups

Specialist thick tiles or layered systems to assess for heavy lifting and noise-sensitive locations, alongside dedicated platforms where required.

Sports courts & field surfaces

Plan a surface around the sport, level of use and local site conditions. We coordinate the playing finish with the sub-base, drainage, line markings and surrounding access.

  • Football: artificial turf systems, with infill and underlay options assessed for the intended use.
  • Basketball and tennis: acrylic, polyurethane or modular court systems, with indoor sports-floor alternatives.
  • Padel and multi-sport areas: sport-specific turf or court finishes coordinated with the complete facility.

Equestrian concept: stall matting and aisle flooring form part of a coordinated stable design.

Equestrian flooring for exceptional stables

Create a refined stable environment with surfaces selected around horses, handlers and daily care. Our scope can cover luxury stalls, horse floor mats, stable aisles, wash areas and arena flooring coordination.

  • Stalls: rubber stable mats and fitted matting systems, with edges and joints considered alongside bedding and cleaning.
  • Aisles and wash areas: rubber pavers or suitable grip-focused surfaces, planned with drainage and cleaning routines.
  • Riding arenas: a separate engineered base, drainage and sand-based footing specification, developed for the riding discipline and maintenance regime.

What we review before recommending a floor

Application and daily use · Equipment or animal loads · Existing slab and moisture conditions · Noise transfer · Drainage and exposure · Cleaning regime · Colours and edge details

Share the area in square metres, location, intended activities and photos of the existing surface. Product availability, thickness and technical suitability are confirmed in the proposal.

Your project questions

What thickness should I choose for a gym?

There is no single thickness for every gym. Cardio areas, free weights and heavy lifting have different demands. We assess the product construction, subfloor, equipment and acoustic requirements before proposing a system.

Can the same flooring be used indoors and outdoors?

Only where the selected system is suitable for that exposure. Outdoor work needs a review of UV exposure, temperature, drainage, fixing method and the substrate.

Are stable mats the same as riding-arena flooring?

No. Stall mats and aisle surfaces serve different needs from an arena. Riding arenas require a coordinated base, drainage and footing design suited to the discipline, horses and maintenance routine.
